Eight international footballers to arrive in Pakistan
KARACHI (92 News) – Eight renowned international footballers, including Brazil’s Ronaldinho have on Saturday arrived in Pakistan.
Ronaldinho is accompanied by Brazil’s 2002 World Cup winning teammate, Roberto Carlos, former French midfielder Robert Pires France’s Nicolas Anelka, Portugal’s Luis Boa Morte, Holland’s George Boateng, England’s David James and John Terry.
The international players will take part in two football exhibition matches on Saturday and Sunday to promote the game in Pakistan.
The first match will be played at Hockey Club of Pakistan in Karachi today and second in Lahore tomorrow.
The security of both the matches has been given to the Pakistan Army.
Pakistan’s international footballer Kaleemullah will also participate in the matches. He said the visit of international footballers will boost the game in Pakistan.
