Electioneering ends for last phase of LB polls in Punjab & Sindh
KARACHI (92 News) – The electioneering for the last phase of the local bodies elections in Punjab and Sindh ended on Thursday night.
The elections will be held in Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Narowal, Multan and other districts of Southern Punjab on Saturday.
Candidates have also launched the door-to-door campaign to win support of voters.
On the other hand, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is busy making arrangements for the elections.
In Karachi, 5,401 candidates are in the race. In South District, the biggest contest will be held in Layari which is considered to be stranglehold of the PPP.
The candidates belonging to the PTI and N-League are more than the PPP in this area.
