ISLAMABAD – The Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani left for his homeland after concluding the Pakistan tour on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif saw him off at Noor Khan Airbase.
During the visit, the Emir held talks with President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to further enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields, including energy, investment, trade, defence and manpower.
Regional and global issues of bilateral importance were also discussed.
It was his first official visit to Pakistan as the Emir of Qatar. He had visited Pakistan as Crown Prince in 2010.
