Every institution should work in its domain for country’s bright future: Talal
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry has said that Parliament is the most supreme state institution and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) desire more respect for the state institutions.
Talking to media outside an accountability court, he said that it is yet to be seen if the Parliament is receiving its due respect and rights.
The PML-N leader said that parliament, like the judiciary, also deserves respect, adding that any discord between these institutions would harm the state.
“Every institution, he believed, should work in its domain as it would help for the bright future of Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said that she has not accused anyone of horse-trading but explained the reality.
She said action should be taken against the people involved in this practice.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said some political parties were just banking on hollow slogans and suggestions, adding that when the same suggestions were being debated in parliament; these parties disappeared from the scene.
She said Imran Khan lectures about democracy in his news conferences but when it comes to talk about strengthening of democracy he does not attend parliamentary sessions.
