Ex-COAS to be offered position of Islamic military alliance’s chief in March, April: Amjad Shoaib

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Lieutenant General (r) Amjad Shoaib has said that former army chief General Raheel Sharif would be offered the position of the chief of Islamic Military Alliance in March or April.
Talking to 92 News on Wednesday, Shoaib said that Raheel Sharif cannot hold the position without federal government’s approval.
According to Shoaib, the former army chief has put forward the inclusion of Iran among three conditions for the military alliance.
