Fazlur Rehman again lashes out at the Women Protection Bill

KARACHI (92 News) – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Moulana Fazlur Rehman has on Sunday again lashed out at the Women Protection Bill and announced to support the one who would approach court against the bill.

Addressing the elected local government representatives of the party in Karachi on Sunday, Fazlur Rehman said that the Women Protection Bill passed in the Punjab assembly is a violation of sharia.

He said that under the law a woman can file a report against her husband and a chip could be inserted in male’s hands to monitor his activities.
