Maulana Fazlur Rehman gives PM Imran Khan two-day ultimatum to resign
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the 2018 election was the worst fraud and rigged and they neither accept the electoral results nor the government.
Addressing the participants of Azadi March on Friday, he said that they are not ready to give more time to the government. “Economy has destroyed due to incompetence of the rulers,” he said.
He asked the workers to stay steadfast wholeheartedly. “We will make the decision after two days,” he said.
The JUI-F chief said that a state cannot exist if its economy is destroyed. “We ask the prime minister to resign within two days,” he said.
He said that they do not want a clash with the institutions. “Now the government will have to go. We want to see the institutions powerful and impartial. If the institutions are backing the government, then we should also be not stopped from giving the opinion,” he said.
The JUI-F chief said that they want a system based on justice and equality. “We are standing with the Kashmiris who should not feel themselves alone. We will fight the war of the independence and self-determination of the Kashmiris,” he said.
He said that the government had promised to construct five million houses, but it had destroyed over five million houses.
Reacting to the allegation of using the religious card, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that Islam and Pakistan co-exist. “The rulers say Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari are corrupt people, but the International Economic Forum report says corruption has increased by two percent,” he said.
