Federal cabinet discusses overall political, security situation
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Federal Cabinet in its meeting on Monday discussed overall political situation, Indian aggression and National Action Plan.
The meeting was chaired by the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The cabinet members stress the need of raising Indian aggression on international platforms and to respond any aggression by the India.
The national security adviser briefed the cabinet members regarding cancellation of NSA talks by the Indian government, while the cabinet members thoroughly discussed Indian violation along the LoC and RAW’s involvement in Balochistan.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar briefed the meeting regarding the Muttahida Qaumi Movement leaders resignations.
Meanwhile, during the meeting interior minister Chaudhry Nisar said that the NAP will be implemented and they will respond Indian aggression along the LoC.
He said that the matter relating to the Indian aggression will be raised on international platform, adding that the foreign ministry has been directed in this regard.
During the briefing, Nisar said that action has been taken against as many as 20,186 terrorists, adding that 3,418 terrorists were detained and 193 accused have been hanged to death.
He said that they have found evidence against 190 religious schools for receiving foreign funding.
The cabinet members have decided to speed up the implementation of NAP and Karachi operation will continue till its logical end.
