Federal Cabinet meeting underway in chair of PM
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Meeting of Federal Cabinet is underway in Islamabad with Prime Minister Imran Khan in the chair.
Prime Minister Imran Khan, who returned from Iran on Sunday, is chairing the cabinet meeting on Monday at his office to take up 15-point agenda.
The cabinet is discussing overall political and economic situation of the country.
According to agenda of the meeting, the law ministry will present six ordinances concerning legal reforms for approval. One of the ordinances is about amendments in NAB laws.
The revised master plan for Islamabad and real estate ordinance will also be presented before the cabinet for approval.
The members will present reports relating to projects of public interest. A report regarding Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) will also be presented.
An approval to the appointment of members under Islamabad Healthcare Act will be accorded during the meeting. An action plan to stop smuggling of illegal tobacco will be presented on the occasion.
A detailed report will be submitted before the cabinet about wheat production and stock market.
The cabinet members will endorse the decisions earlier taken by the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the federal government.
