FIR registered against MQM leader Amir Khan

KARACHI (92 News) – An FIR was registered against Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) leader Amir Khan in the Azizabad police station on Thursday.

As per reports, Sindh Rangers filed the FIR for giving refuge to the absconders and convicted criminals at MQM Head Quarter Nine Zero. “Amir Khan as security in-charge of Nine Zero and kept convicted criminals at Nine Zero and in houses in nearby streets,” the FIR said. Anti-Terrorism Act clauses of 21-J and 11-V have been incorporated in the case.

Earlier on March 11, as many as 26 hardened criminals were arrested during a raid at MQM headquarter Nine Zero; one of  the criminals, Noman alias Nomi was involved in the murder of Advocate Nematullah Randhawa and one in that of Journalist Wali Babar. Also, illegal arms were recovered during an early morning raid conducted on tip off about presence of criminals.
