Firdous Ashiq Awan terms flour crisis as negative propaganda
SIALKOT (92 News) – Special Assistant Prime Minister on Information Fridous Ashiq Awan has termed the flour crisis as negative propaganda.
Talking to the media on Sunday, she said that flour is available in Punjab, but Sindh government’s negligence had created such conditions there.
She asked the Sindh government to expedite the wheat supply. “The prime minister has directed to supply 400,000 tons of wheat to the Sindh government
She said that the wheat stock should be shifted to flour mills in Sindh so that the prices be reduced. “The government and the allies are on the same page on the agenda of public welfare,” she said.
Firdous Ashiq Awan said that those targeting Usman Buzdar are directly targeting Imran Khan. “It is mandatory to control those selling flour at an exorbitant price,” she said.
She said that the Punjab government is trying to stabilize the flour prices. “As many as 368 sales points have been established for selling flour,” she added.
The special assistant said that a group of political orphans is saying the government will not complete its tenure.
“The opponents should believe that the government will complete its tenure along with the allies. Talks with the MQM and other allies are progressing in a positive way. The implementation of the Karachi package has started,” she said.
Firdous Ashiq Awan said that Buzadar is a hard working man. “Usman Buzdar is a character. Previous chief ministers were actors,” she added.
