Fire at Islamabad’s plaza leaves one dead, another injured

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The fire that erupted at Islamabad’s Awami Markaz Software Technology Park in Red Zone on Sunday has been extinguished.

As per details, fire erupted in Awami Markaz Software Technology Park located in the federal capital’s Red Zone area Sunday morning. Before long, the blaze overtook the entire building.

The blaze which broke out in Federal Tax Ombudsman office damaged the tax record due to the incident.

However, five fire brigade vehicles rushed to the site and put out the fire.

Two persons were reportedly injured as they jumped off the second floor to save their lives. They were shifted to local hospital for medical assistance where one of them succumbed to injuries, while the condition of the other injured was said to be critical.

The fire was reportedly caused by short-circuiting.
