Fire put out at shoe factory near Lahore’s Timber Market
LAHORE (92 News) – The fire that erupted at a shoe factory near Timber Market of Lahore on Saturday was put out after two hours.
Fire brigades and rescue teams managed to to put out the fire.
The blaze also engulfed nearby buildings dark fumes of fire spread in the area. Goods worth lacs of rupees were burnt in the blaze.
The houses near the factory were also evacuated as the fire break out.
Lahore Deputy Commissioner Sameer Ahmed was continuously in contact with Rescue 1122 and had directed the rescue teams to immediately put out the fire in the factory.
He had directed Rescue 1122 and fire brigade personnel to use all available resources to extinguish the fire.
