Firing kills woman in Rawalpindi
RAWALPINDI (92 News) – A female employee of a local bank was killed and another injured when the security guard mistakenly opened fire on Thursday.
As per details, the security guard Umer Khan, who was deputed at the Dubai Islamic Bank branch located at Haider Road in the night shift, was handing over the weapon to the morning shift guard when accidently opened fire, resultantly the female employee namely Hina, 30, who was present in the bank and her male colleague namely Haris sustained injuries.
After being informed, the rescue staff reached the spot and shifted the injured to nearby hospital, where Hina succumbed to injuries.
The heirs of the deceased Hina blamed the bank for hiring untrained guards and decided to take legal action against the bank.
