First phase of LB Polls: Provincial govts should make elections fair, says CEC Sardar Raza Khan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Chief Election Commissioner Sardar Muhammad Raza Khan has on Saturday said that irrespective of political affiliation, the provincial governments should make elections fair.

In his message during the first phase of Local Government Elections in Punjab and Sindh, Sardar Raza Khan said that the provincial governments should not support any specific political party.

He urged the Returning Officers (ROs) to work in the best interest of the country, adding that the candidates, experts and media should also play their role for the polls.
