First polio case of 2020 reported in Punjab

DERA GHAZI KHAN (92 News) – The first polio case of 2020 has been reported in Taunsa Sharif, Dera Ghazi Khan on Thursday. The victim is aged eight months. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar expressed a grave concern over the polio case. He sought a report in from DG Khan commissioner and the Health secretary. The chief minister ordered the officers concerned to devise an effective strategy in this regard. On the other hand, the Balochistan Health Department has confirmed a polio case in Sibbi. Parents of seven-month kid had refused to administer the polio drops to the child. It is third polio case in the province this year.
