Five terrorists killed in encounter with Rangers in Karachi
KARACHI (92 News) – Five terrorists were killed in an encounter with the Rangers in Shireen Jinnah Tapu, Kiamari on Wednesday.
On a tip-off, the Rangers raided the place. The terrorists lobbed two hand grenades on the Rangers, injuring two officials.
The Rangers also retaliated, killing the terrorists identified as Hanain, Javed, Talha, Abdur Rauf and Umar.
A spokesman for the Rangers said that the terrorists belonged to the banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban and were involved in the target killing of several key personalities.
He said that hand grenades, a Kalashnikov and pistols were recovered from the terrorists.
