Flood water wash away several more villages in areas of Sindh
GHOTKI (92 News) – Flood water inundated several more villages in Sindh while worsening situation in Ghotki on Saturday.
As per details of Indus River System Authority (IRSA), the overall flood water flow has started decreasing.
Indus River System Authority reported low floods in River Sindh, Chenab and Jehlum, while high flood in River Kabul.
Dozens of villages in Punjab were inundated due to floods, while Pakistan Army continues rescue and relief operations.
The IRSA spokesman said that at Tarbela, water was flowing inwards at 346,000 cusecs, while the discharge was recorded at 262,000 cusecs.
The spokesman said that at Mangla Dam, water was flowing inwards at 91,000 cusecs, while the discharge was recorded at 60,000 cusecs.
He said that the water flow in River Chenab at Marala was recorded at 20,000 cusecs, while the water flow is continually increasing at Guddu Beraj, where the flow was recorded at 500,000 cusecs.
