Floods wash away hundreds of villages due to fresh rains in areas of Sindh, Chitral

LAHORE (92 News) – Hundreds more villages in southern Punjab, Sindh and chitral were washed away in recent floods as 400 more villages were inundated in recent rains on Friday.

As per details, the villages have lost land connection and relief efforts have become difficult apart from the people have troubling shifting to safe places.

Provincial administrations, Pakistan Army and Rescue 1122 are continuing relief and rescue operations in different affected areas.

Meanwhile, the water-level began rising in Chashma and Jinnah barrages, while spillways of the Tarbella dam were opened to allow extra water.
