Foreign Minister Qureshi, Canadian counterpart discuss bilateral relations
LONDON (92 News) – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi calls on Canadian Minister for Foreign Affairs Christina Freeland on Thursday.
Both ministers discussed matters of mutual interest, including bilateral relations.
The Canadian minister lauded the courageous decisions taken by Pakistan for eliminating terrorism.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the bilateral relations between both countries are satisfactory. He invited the Canadian counterpart to visit Pakistan.
Meanwhile, he also held a meeting with Commonwealth Secretary General Patricia Scotland and discussed the matters of mutual interest with her.
She thanked Pakistan for releasing postal tickets on the 70th birthday of the organization.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi informed the Commonwealth secretary general about the arrival of Pakistan’s parliamentary cricket team to London.
