FM Shah Mahmood Qureshi completes visit’s first phase, leaves for Iran
KABUL (92 News) – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Monday completed the first phase of his three-day visit to four countries.
FM Shah Mehmood Qureshi visited Afghanistan and held delegation level talks with FM Salahuddin Rabbani. They discussed issues of mutual interest, progress on Afghan peace and reconciliation process and economic and trade issues between the two countries.
Later, he left for Iran where he will meet high-level leadership.
Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua and higher officials of the foreign ministry are accompanying him.
He will also visit China and Russia where he will exchange views on bilateral relations of these countries with Pakistan.
Earlier before his departure from Pakistan, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said establishing close trade and political ties with regional countries is amongst top priorities of PTI’s government.
