US conceals its failures by holding Pakistan responsible, says Kh Asif
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif has said that they will talk to the United States keeping in view country’s interests.
Giving the policy statement in the Senate on Wednesday, he said that the US conceals its failures by holding Pakistan responsible.
He said that Pakistan would protect its interests at the international level. “We have asked America not to narrate shallow words and provide them information. Now the Foreign Policy will not be formed to protect external interests,” he said.
The minister said that Pakistan was with America for establishing peace in Afghanistan. “Pakistan shares its border with Afghanistan and we cannot make geographical changes,” he maintained.
Kh Asif said that Rex Tillerson had stated in the US Senate that Pakistan wanted an effective intelligence link. “We can achieve better results if we get effective intelligence,” he said.
“The US policy has been formed by the military generals who suffered a defeat in Afghanistan,” he maintained.
