Gandapur again challenges Maulana Fazlur Rehman to contest election
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Ali Amin Gandapur has once again challenged JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman to contest the election against him.
Meanwhile, Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s son Maulana Asa’ad Mahmood has accepted the challenge of Ali Amin Gandapur.
Gandapur said: “Maulana Asa’ad Mahmood should resign and I also resign. Then let’s go to the re-election.”
Earlier, Ali Amin Gandapur had announced to hold a public meeting in the constituency of Maulana Fazlur Rehman and express double public power as compared to Maulana. “How a person losing his seat is asking PM Imran Khan to resign?” he said.
The minister said that Maulana should get cameras installed at each polling station and then contest the election on the seat left by him. “Maulana should stop criticizing the government and accept the challenge if he has some courage,” he said.
He said that he would defeat Maulana by a huge margin. “Maulana should also respond to the notice served by him. “An irreparable loss was caused to the Kashmir cause due to stubbornness of Maulana Fazlur Rehman,” he said.
Ali Amin said that the Indian media is rejoicing the protest. “The prime minister contested the Kashmir case at the international level day and night,” he said.
He said that Maulana’s march is an injustice with Kashmiris.
