We have to get rid of slavery to fulfill Quaid-e-Azam’s dream: Pervez Khattak
PESHAWAR (92 News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has on Monday said that we have to get rid of slavery and fulfill the dream of the leader.
Addressing the flag hoisting ceremony in connection with the 70th Independence Day in Peshawar, he said that founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah fulfilled the dream of Allama Iqbal, adding that we have to get rid of slavery and fulfill the dream of the founding father.
Earlier, Pervez Khattak hoisted the national flag and observed one-minute silence in civil secretariat.
The ceremony was attended by deputy speaker Dr Mehar Taj Roghani, provincial ministers, IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and higher civil officers. KP CM cut the Independence Day cake and released doves and balloons in the air.
