Government should declare emergency over water crisis in Karachi, says Sirajul Haq

KARACHI (92 News) – Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq has said that government should declare emergency over the water crisis in the city.

Talking to the media, he said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharid should visit Karachi immediately and hold a high-level meeting on water crisis.

Sirajul Haq said that Karachi needs to have thousands of water filteration plants.

While critising Sindh CM Qaim Ali Shah he said that hospitals do not have space for the heatwave victims.

He said that the prime minister should call a meeting of political parties in this regard.

Sirajul Haq said that water should be distributed free on emergency basis in the city.
