Those setting 300 people ablaze in Baldia Town will be hanged: Sindh governor
KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad has said that those setting 300 people ablaze in Baldia Town will be hanged.
Talking to the media on Wednesday, he said that the people responsible for the May 12 tragedy will be hanged at a crossroad.
“The weapons recovered from Karachi had been purchased to fight against the Army. A political party is involved in it. We will nab the responsible people,” he said.
Dr Ishratul Ebad vowed to root out criminals from Karachi.
He said that none of a criminal, terrorist or extortionist would be spared whether they are hiding in a small shop in New Karachi or in any posh area.
Ebad declared corruption responsible for the delay in the city’s development projects and said that now the government can be seen after Murad Ali Shah became Sindh chief minister.
The Sindh governor also praised the development projects during the tenure of Naimatullah Khan and said that a new era of corruption started after his tenure.
He said that the Rangers are dispensing their duties professionally, adding that peace is being restored in the city now and the credit of this goes to Director General Sindh Ranger and IG Police AD Khawaja.
