ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Criticizing incumbent government, Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the members of the government are leveling allegations as if they are still in the opposition.

Talking to the journalists in the National Assembly lounge, Bilawal said that the government is responding to the opposition’s concerns on the finance bill in a childish manner. “If the government does not hear our reservations, then how will we support finance bill?” he asked.

Last week, Minister for Finance Asad Umar presented the supplementary finance bill in the National Assembly and announced cuts in planned development spending and a tax increase for higher earners.

Addressing to the today’s NA session, Hina Rabbani Khar said the government cannot serve the masses by increasing taxes and termed the mini budget as tinkering with figures instead of brining in any directional change.

Criticizing the government, she said PTI is not ready to see opposition leader heading the Public Accounts Committee of the National Assembly.
