Govt taking every possible step to keep Pakistan safe, says Pervaiz Rashid

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid has on Friday said that the government is taking every possible step to keep Pakistan safe but unfortunately the children have not been spared in terrorism.

Talking to media in Islamabad on Friday, the information minister said that the holding of local government is a success of everyone.

He said that the provision of justice to the people is most important, adding that everyone should work for the promotion of democracy in the country.

Pervaiz Rashid said that Punjab Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) provincial organizer Chaudhry Sarwar had said he would resign from the party if he couldn’t prove rigging, now he should tender his resignation. “People do not listen to the allegations of rigging,” he said.

He said that the children have also been targeted in terrorism and they are ashamed for not formulate legislation, adding that the law will be formulated for to protect the rights of children.

The minister said that everyone gets right to exercise their right to vote and this is the beauty of democracy.
