Hammad Azhar made Federal Minister for Industries as PM reshuffles cabinet
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday reshuffled the federal cabinet two days after the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) released reports on the sugar and wheat crisis. According to details, Hammad Azhar has been made Federal Minister for Industries and Syed Fakhar Imam assigned the portfolio of Federal Minister for National Food Security. On the other hand, Makhdoom Khusru Bakhtiyar has been made Federal Minister for Economic Affairs. Azam Sawati has been given the portfolio of Federal Minister for Narcotics Control, while Babar Awan has been appointed as Advisor for Parliamentary Affairs. Muhammad Shahzad Arbab has been removed as Advisor. Prime Minister Imran Khan accepted the resignation of Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui as Federal Minister. Aminul Haq of the MQM has been appointed as Federal Minister for Telecom. Meanwhile, Hashim Popalzai has been removed as Secretary Ministry of National Food Security and Research. Omar Hameed has been transferred and appointed as Secretary Ministry of National Food Security.
