I was handcuffed last time but this time I am in the field: Asif Zardari

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Former president Asif Ali Zardari has on Sunday said Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is ready for the next elections.

Talking to media at the resident of Aziz-ur-Rehman Chan in Islamabad on Sunday, he said that he was handcuffed last time but this time he himself is in the field.

The PPP co-chairman asked party workers to chant the new slogan “Aik Zardari, Sab Sy Yari”.

Zardari said that he would hold dialogue to ensure that the next elections are held in free, fair and transparent manner.

He thanked the party workers for their support and vowed that PPP will find its lost glory in Punjab.


Earlier, PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari was given warm welcome at the resident of Aziz-ur-Rehman Chan in Islamabad.

On the other hand, Zardari said that the Pak-Afghan border management is necessary with the mutual consultations for regional peace and to eliminate terrorism and extremism from the country.
