Hassan Nawaz appears before JIT, interrogated for six hours
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Hassan Nawaz, younger son of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, appeared before the joint investigation team probing into the Panama Leaks on Friday.
The JIT interrogated him for about six hours.
Hassan Nawaz had also brought documents with him. He recorded his statement before the JIT. His counsel was not allowed to appear before the JIT.
The statement was recorded in the light of 13-point questionnaire.
On his return from the hearing, he went away without talking to the media. Hussain Nawaz is likely to appear before the JIT for the fourth time.
Dr Asif Kirmani, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and other PML-N leaders were also present on the occasion.
Stringent security arrangements had been made on the occasion. The roads to the Judicial Academy had been blocked by erecting barbed wires and concrete blocks.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will also appear before the JIT on Saturday.
