Hate Speech Case: Waseem Akhtar granted interim bail

KARACHI (92 News) – The Anti-Terrorism Court has on Friday granted interim bail to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Waseem Akhtar until February 20 in provocative and hate speech case.

The court asked him to submit surety bonds of Rs 20,000 and also granted him exemption from appearing in person on his request.

The court further issued non-bailable arrest warrants of 17 Muttahida Qaumi Movement leaders including Farooq Sattar in Lound Speaker Act case.
