Hazrat Shah Rukn-e-Alam’s 705th Urs starts in Multan
MULTAN (92 News) – The three-day 705th Urs of Hazrat Shah Rukn-e-Alam started in the city on Saturday.
Hundreds of thousands of devotees from across the country paid homage to the great saint of the subcontinent.
Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi, custodian to the shrine, inaugurated the celebrations by performing the ‘ghusal’ ceremony of the shrine. The ‘chadar’-laying ceremony was held on the occasion. The devotees prayed for the solidarity of the country.
Foolproof security arrangements have been made on the occasion.
