Health & Nutrition supervisors stage sit-in for regularization
LAHORE (92 News) – Health and Nutrition supervisors staged a sit-in to press for the regularization of their jobs at Charing Cross on Thursday.
The protesters carrying banners and placards chanted slogans against the government.
They protesters said that they had been appointed in 3,000 schools by the Health Department 10 years ago, but they were still on contract.
They said that the government had promised to regularize them, but the promise could not be fulfilled. They said that they would continue their protest till acceptance of their demand.
The protest caused a severe traffic logjam on the Mall Road.
