Heirs wants investigation of a cop who commit suicide in Lahore
LAHORE (92 News) – The heirs of a policeman, who committed suicide yesterday by shooting him over repeated taunting and misbehave of senior officials, brought the body to Lahore for autopsy.
The assistant sub inspector (ASI) serving in investigation wing of Defense Police Station Lahore, disappointed over rough attitude and repeated taunting of senior officers committed suicide by shooting himself in his head. He was rushed to hospital in critically injured condition but could not survive.
The 45-year-old Azeem Ashraf was a resident of Narowal and was a father of five children. He joined the police force 15 years ago.
The heirs of the deceased said that Azeem Ashraf never showed hopelessness, adding that the investigation should be conducted into the incident.
