Holding rallies in current circumstances is tantamount to hostility to people: CM
LAHORE (92 News) – Situation of coronavirus is deteriorating in the country as Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar on Thursday said that holding rallies in current circumstances is tantamount to hostility to the people.
In a statement, CM Buzdar said that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has put people’s lives at stake. "Holding rallies under current circumstances of COVID-19 is synonymous with public enmity," he added.
The chief minister that the opposition has proven that its politics is not based on any principle or ideology. "This group of thieves does not care about the masses," he said, terming that the opposition’s irresponsible behavior as disappointing.
CM Buzdar further said that the PDM leaders first spread the virus of corruption and are now transmitting coronavirus by holding public gatherings. "The nation has rejected the negative narrative of this group and PDM’s politics of anarchy has been buried," he added.
