Hurriyat leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq to attend Eid Milan party in New Delhi
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Hurriyat Conference Mirwaiz group said it will attend the Eid Milan at Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi and utilise the occasion to stress that India and Pakistan cannot resolve their ‘secondary issues’ without including Kashmir in the dialogue process.
The Hurriyat Conference was held at the house of Mirwaiz Umer Farooq.
A two-member delegation comprising Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Masroor Abbas Ansari would attend the event hosted by Pakistani high commissioner Abdul Basit.
Hurriyat Conference Mirwaiz group spokesman Shahdiul Islam aid that they will record their protest in front of Pakistani high commissioner Abdul Basit for not discussing Kashmir issue during prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s meeting with his Indian counterpart on the sidelines of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in Ufa.
On the other hand, Syed Ali Gilani said that Pakistan has always raised Kashmir issue at every level that is why Kashmiris have many expectations.
He said that prime minister Nawaz Sharif should have discussed Kashmir issue in his meeting with Narendra Modi in Russia.
Syed Ali Gilani further said that he will not be able to attend the Eid Milan party, as he was under house arrest.
