Hurriyat leaders put under house arrest ahead of Martyrs day
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The authorities in Jammu and Kashmir detained Hurriyat leaders on Martyrs’ Day and banned anti-India rallies on Sunday.
Hurriyat leaders, including Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umer Farooq, Muhammad Yasin Malik and Shabir Shah, were placed under house arrest.
The Hurriyat leadership said that they will start protest organization if India did not stop violence against people.
On the other hand, Indian forces martyred three militants in Pahalgam.
