Panama case: Hussain Nawaz appears before JIT, investigated for five hours
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PM’s son Hussain Nawaz appeared before the joint investigation team that investigated him for five hours.
Strict security arrangements have been made on the occasion.
Talking to the media in Islamabad, Hussain Nawaz said that he has appeared before the JIT whenever he was summoned, adding that many questions are being raised on the JIT.
Hussain Nawaz said that he had not been asked to appear again. “I will appear before the JIT if summoned,” he maintained. He was of the opinion that no government or court can take any action on suspicion.
The premier’s son also demanded an action against the persons involved in leaking his picture.
Meanwhile, the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) has also prepared a 14 points questionnaire for the prime minister and decision to summon is expected at any time, while Finance Minister Ishaq Dar is buying time to appear before the JIT.
On the other hand, the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has suggested Nawaz Sharif to use his right of immunity and also raised objection over the behavior of JIT members with the sons of the premiers.
Sources said that the ruling PML-N can ask any party leader to file petition in the Supreme Court.
