I am not judge who can tell about decision of Nawaz Sharif: FM Qureshi
MULTAN (92 News) – Minister for Foreign Affairs Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Sunday said that he is not a judge who can tell about the decision of the accountability court about former premier Nawaz Sharif in Al-Azizia and Flagship reference.
Speaking to the journalists, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the opposition parties are trying to create difference between the people of South Punjab.
To a question about tomorrow’s verdict of accountability court, the minister said that he does not know about the verdict of the court about Nawaz Sharif because the courts are independent now, adding that the court would decide freely.
FM Qureshi said that he did not make any case against the Sharif family, Nawaz Sharif should ask from those who opened these cases against them.
While talking about in creation of South Punjab, he prayed that the opposition should do what he said about in creation of South Punjab. He further said that the PTI-led government always stood with their manifesto.
Discussing about the visits related neigbouring countries, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that he is starting his three-day visit to Afghanistan, Iran, China and Russia from tomorrow (on Monday).
The minister said that Pakistan wants peace and stability in the region and it will reach to regional countries for this purpose. He said he is starting his three-day visit to Afghanistan, Iran, China and Russia from tomorrow, which is aimed at strengthening ties with them and enhance cooperation in various fields.
During the four-nation visit, he will discuss Pakistan’s bilateral relations with senior leadership of these countries to strengthen cooperation in various areas. The minister will also exchange views with leaders of these countries on the fast changing regional and international environment.
Recent developments concerning peace and reconciliation in Afghanistan would also be discussed during these meetings.
The visit is part of promoting various initiatives and ideas for regional cooperation especially in promoting economic and people-to-people linkages.
