I ask Sindhis not to pay attention to MQM’s words: Anees Qaimkhani
KARACHI (92 News) – Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) leader President Anees Qaimkhani blasted at the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and said that they cannot take a change except hollow slogans.
Speaking to the journalists at Pakistan House, the PSP leader rejected demand for a new province, adding that this would create gulf between people of the province.
Criticizing the MQM, Anees Qaimkhani said, “They are instigating Muhajir community, I call Sindhis don’t give attention to their words because they have only aim to earn money,” he said. “They are not removing garbage neither supplying water but only chant slogans and sleep,” he lamented.
“Mayor Waseem Akhtar laments about lacking powers but at the time to demolish someone’s house or shop, he always remains present,” PSP leader mentioned. He further stated that Mustafa Kamal knows how to heal and make Sindh better.
Anees Qaimkhani said that the MQM was engaged in ethnic politics for 35 years and caused killing of thousands of youth in this politics. “The people have rejected those involved in dividing them he said. “The MQM’s flop show demonstrated it,” he added.
He said MQM didn’t raise the issue of province in the assembly. “More Muhajir are settled in interior of Sindh then Karachi,” PSP leader said. He claimed that a large number of people will join the PSP after Eid.
Anees Qaimkhani acquitted in arson and rioting case
Earlier, the Sessions Court Hyderabad had acquitted Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) leader Anees Qaimkhani in arson and rioting case. The PSP leader had been accused of arson and riots in 1994.
Talking to media outside the courtroom, he said that they will show party’s strength on January 29 public rally in Karachi.
Anees Qaimkhani said that political leaders have failed to serve the masses.
