I took a big risk for country by forming Judicial Commission, says Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif
LAHORE (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that he took a great risk for the country by forming the Judicial Commission.
Talking to the media in Lahore on Saturday, he said that those whom against the verdict announced did not accept it.
“We invited Imran Khan to talks at every stage,” he said. “Everyone knows the politics done after the sit-ins. The passage of the parliament was blocked. People know about his speeches.”
The prime minister said that they would restore lights across the country and provide electricity to the people at cheaper rates.
He said that he needed the prayers of the people more than votes. “People will pray with the vote for you if you will provide them the transport system, health system and cheap electricity. We are sincerely serving the people,” he maintained.
Nawaz Sharif was of the view that they could have formed the government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through political alliances. “We are being punished for our political sacrifices,” he added.
He said that they had conveyed the word of Kashmiris to the United Nations General Assembly with arguments.
