ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar on Saturday said that he will guard dam after his retirement. Talking to the informal conversations with journalists, the chief justice said that he will guard the dam after his retirement even he would have to live in the hut around the dam. The CJP also told that the decision was taken after his permission about dam funds. He appreciated the statement of Prime Minister Imran Khan regarding water crisis in Pakistan. CJP Nisar termed that the Supreme Court will conduct international conference on water. Earlier, in a special message to the nation, Prime Minister Imran Khan appealed to the overseas Pakistanis to donate US$1,000 per person for the construction of dams. “We have to construct these dams and we will construct them,” he declared. The prime minister assured the nation of safeguarding the donated amount, saying that all amount will be spent on dams. “The Egyptian people also constructed a dam as they were not getting loans from abroad,” he said. Imran Khan said that dams are very essential for the future of the country.
