‘If you don’t deliver you will have to go home’, Zardari warns Imran Khan
SADIQABAD (92 News) – Former president Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday predicted that Prime Minister Imran Khan as ‘captain’ won’t be able to manage the government for much longer, warning, “‘If you don’t deliver you will have to go home.”
Addressing at rally in Sadiqabad, the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) took jibe at Imran Khan, saying the prime minister could neither handle the economy nor government for much longer.
“I don’t think the captain’s government will last long. You have to work or else you’ll have to go home, he said.
Zardari said that captain not be able to manage the economy nor keep his promises to the people, adding that the premier took only U-turns.
Criticizing to the prime minister’s recent statement on U-turns, Zardari remarked that neither Napoleon Bonaparte nor Hitler were remembered as heroes. “Hitler killed 55 million people, he was no hero.”
The PPP co-chairman mentioned that there were no political prisoners during PPP’s rule. “If given another opportunity, we will bring a system that the country needs.”
Zardari also said that if he hadn’t delegated the president’s powers to parliament, today no dentists or pakora sellers would be able to become president.
