IHC grants former PM Gilani seven-day protective bail in nine cases
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Former prime minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that another case has been made against him as he reached the court for his bail.
Islamabad High Court on Monday granted seven-day protective bail to former Prime Minister of Pakistan Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani in nine cases.
Talking to media outside the court, former PM said that there was no political prisoner in his tenure.
He said that he believed in the judiciary and he will get justice. “Pakistan People’s Party could be accused of terrorism,” he said.
Gilani said that the Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) cannot take action with the permission of the government, adding that the PPP co-chairman gave statement against prime minister Nawaz Sharif after getting fed up.
He said that the PPP will be with the government, if PML-N works only 15 percent on the Charter of Democracy (COD).
