ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has on Wednesday rejected the petition seeking from the court to stop the Nawaz Sharif’s planned road show to go to Lahore via the GT Road.

The IHC had yesterday (Tuesday) reserved judgment on the maintainability of the petition challenging Nawaz Sharif’s planned road show to go to Lahore via the GT Road.

The petition was filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) through its counsel Usman Saeed Basra, and was heard by Justice Amir Farooq.

The counsel of PTI had said that Nawaz Sharif announced to carry a protest in the form of a rally after the apex court ousted him which is a complete violation of court’s verdict.
