Imran asks Europe to support developing countries in war against corruption
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PTI chairman Imran Khan attended a dinner hosted in honor of foreign ambassadors on Monday.
The dinner was hosted by PTI Central Secretary for Foreign Affairs Dr Shahzad Waseem. The ambassadors of France, Canada, Russia, European Union, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Egypt and Oman attended the dinner.
The PTI chairman asked the ambassadors to make anti-money laundering laws strict. “Annually Rs one trillion is laundered to the European countries from the poor and developing countries,” he said.
He said that the European countries should support the developing countries in the war against corruption and money laundering.
PTI secretary general Jahangir Tareen, Naeemul Haq, Fawad Ch, Alee Khan and Amir Kayani were also present.
