Imran Khan arrives in Lahore, to visit membership camps
LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday arrived in Lahore from London.
The PTI chairman will visit membership camps across the city to mobilize supporters ahead of the party’s April 29 rally at Minar-e-Pakistan.
Imran Khan will review the arrangements for the rally.
Earlier, PTI leader Shoaib Siddiqi had threatened to shut down Lahore unless the administration agreed to permit a rally.
Siddiqui said that preparations are in full swing for a rally at Minar-e-Pakistan grounds.
He said Imran will visit Bhaati Gate, Shah Alam Market, Mochi Gate, Delhi Gate and Sheranwala Gate areas as well as Data Darbar.
The PTI leader said the provincial government was trying to sabotage their rally. He said party workers will blocking all Lahore roads if permission was not granted for the rally.
