Imran Khan decides to stay in Lahore till Raiwind March
LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has on Wednesday decided to stay in Lahore till September 30 for the Raiwind March.
The PTI chairman will visit the party camps and also hold meetings with the party leaders.
Imran Khan will reach Badami Bagh at 4:00pm then will reach Bhati Chowk at 4:30pm and Nasir Bagh at 5:00 in the evening. The PTI chief will reach Babu Sabu at 5:30pm and will address a public meeting in Ichra at 6:00pm.
On the other hand, the preparation work for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s Raiwind march to be organized at Adda Plot near the residence of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on September 30 has accelerated.
The preparations for the rally are in process as at least 20 containers transported to Adda Plot for stage, while arrangements for lights have also started.
PTI chairman Imran Khan would address the rally and thousands of chairs would be installed for the public. The party workers will reach Lahore in groups and their respective group leaders have been given the task to look after their team members.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan had announced the Raiwind march last week to press the government for Panama Papers leaks investigation.
He had urged PTI workers, supporters and people belonging to all walks of life to participate in Raiwind March to get rid of the status quo and corrupt rulers and make a new Pakistan.
Khan said that Nawaz Sharif not only destroyed democratic institutions but also promoted corruption in this country, and he is destroying ethics of the nation. Nawaz Sharif also appointed corrupt people at high positions.
