Imran Khan declares Asif Zardari’s acquittal a deal
LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has on Sunday declared the acquittal of former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari a deal.
Talking to media in Lahore on Sunday, he said that the acquittal of PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari is a result of deal with the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
The PTI chairman also expressed lack of trust on National Accountability Bureau (NAB) following Zardari’s acquittal.
Khan said that Maryam Nawaz, daughter of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif held a meeting in the Chief Minister House but said why can’t the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) see.
He said: “I do not have any position in the state but I am not allowed to run the campaign.”
